Individuals from a range of professional clinical disciplines work at the Sloane Court Clinic or are associated with it. Especial emphasis is placed on clinical psychological treatment by our internal clinical psychologist and also externally associated ones who collectively can deliver the whole range of psychological treatments available.
Equal weight is given to the assessment of the physical and emotional aspects of an individual’s presentation. Where relevant physical tests and opinions are sought to exclude coexistent physical illness and a person attending the clinic has a detailed psychiatrist assessment followed by psychological care and/or pharmacological care, as is appropriate – a decision very much involving the patient.
We place emphasis on good communication between the involved professionals aiming in this way to achieve the seamless delivery of care.
The Sloane Court Clinic provides treatment for an extensive range of psychological and psychiatric problems and conditions for adults.
The reader is encouraged to read through the descriptions of the types of psychological therapy (or psychotherapy) offered using the links in the right-hand column.
