Dr Sarah Heke

Dr Sarah Heke is a consultant psychologist and clinical director of the Institute of Psychotrauma in the East London Foundation NHS Trust. She is Chartered with the British Psychological Society.

She has extensive clinical experience in the management of psychosexual disorders, sexual trauma and other forms of trauma - including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She works with general adult psychological disorders including, anxiety-related disorders (such as panic disorder, phobic anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and stress disorders), depression, adjustment disorder, learning difficulties and substance misuse. She also has an interest in working with couples on relationship and marital issues.

Dr Heke brings to the Sloane Court Clinic particular skills in psychosexual disorders, HIV management and sexual health, as well as in helping the victims of sexual trauma.

Dr Heke is trained in a range of psychotherapeutic methods including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
